Little Sahara, Raptor Wildlife, Seal Bay, Desiree Bay

Finally a hair wash - Kaye & I were very excited.   We had an early start this morning, packed lunch & off to the Sandhills at Little Sahara.  Sleighs or tobogans were available or a ride on a buggy around the Sandhills for $97 each!    We all climbed to the top & were rewarded with spectacular views.

After climbing the Sandhills we drove to the Raptor Wildlife Park.   The wildlife staff were very passionate about the birds in their care.   Interesting learning about the different birds & seeing them in action!   A few magpies had been trained in picking up rubbish & putting in the bin 😜 We also saw an owl eat a whole mouse 😩 Tony was able to hold one of his favourite birds, the eagle 🦅 and Kaye also lined up to hold the eagle.

Then onto Seal Bay for a beautiful walk along the boardwalk to see the seals.   We saw quite a few seals laying around the Sandhills which looked over spectacular views.

Decided to look at Deserire Bay on the way home & stopped on the side of the road for lunch & a glass of wine 🥂. Raining when we got back to camp so had tea in the van & a quiet night.
